About the job
During the 2018 Maintenance Shutdown at DOW Chemical Argentina Site BahÃa Blanca, I performed the role of Quality Manager Assistant for Atermis S.A (Grupo Induxa), the main thermal insulation contractor in the region. I was assigned to the tasks of performance control and certification of over 4000 m2 of piping and equipment insulation at the Expanded Polyethylene (EPE) plant. Being one of the biggest maintenance shutdowns in the site's history, it was a very challenging experience. The total work load of the project was equivalent to more than 13000 m2 of thermal insulation, distributed between the ethylene and the EPE plants.
